Help me and my friend Zoë support World Cancer Day. This year, the World Cancer Day organization  has started the ‘Close the Care Gap’ campaign. This campaign is all about understanding and recognising the inequities in cancer care around the globe. It’s about having an open mind, challenging assumptions and looking at the hard facts.

Only an estimated 2-5% of the funds raised for breast cancer research is spent on studies of metastasis. Metastatic breast cancer is the only stage of breast cancer that is incurable. As my best friend Zoë is living with this disease, this cause could not be more important to me. More needs to be done to save lives, to improve quality of life and increase longevity of life.
